Robinson Reed Layton is celebrating its fourth confirmation of Investors in People recognition in a row.

The firm first achieved recognition over 10 years ago, when it was the first firm of accountants in Cornwall to become an Investor in People.

Partner Richard Robinson has overseen the Investors in People process at Robinson Reed Layton from day one. He said: “We are delighted to have achieved Investors in People recognition for the fourth time. We have found it to be very valuable to the development of the firm, not only in terms of our staff, but also in terms of the business systems we have in place to ensure that the firm runs smoothly. I can only encourage more organisations in the region to achieve Investors in People recognition – it makes a definite contribution to business success and the bottom line.”

Robinson Reed Layton were particularly praised for their commitment to training and development, and to the open way in which they work with members of staff, sharing the firm’s vision and strategy with them so that everyone understands the objectives of the firm and their role in achieving them.

The Investors in People report said: “This was a very positive review. Staff clearly see the firm as a good employer, and used words such as ‘friendly’, ‘relaxed’ and ‘calm’ to describe the working atmosphere.”

The report went on to highlight other strengths and areas of good practice, especially the encouragement and support given by the firm to its members of staff for their continuing professional development.”
