Cornish business leaders had an early opportunity to digest the finer points of Chancellor Alistair Darling’s Budget at a breakfast presentation hosted by Truro Chartered Accountants Robinson Reed Layton on Thursday.
Senior partner Paul Reed, tax guru James Bailey and VAT specialist Stephen Gainey were at Truro College to dissect the fine detail of Wednesday’s Budget statement for an invited audience of the county’s leading businessmen and financial specialists.
