On Sunday 9 May a team of 7 ladies from Robinson Reed Layton braved the unseasonably cold weather and took part in the Race for Life in Falmouth. Jo Lawless, Tracy Lewis, Paula Budge, Helen Greig, Carrie Hardy, Vicky Reynolds and Linda Brotherton donned their pink tutus and walked, jogged and ran the 5km course around Pendennis Point; the first of our ladies crossing the finish line in a respectable 26 minutes was Jo Lawless from our Tax Team.
“It’s not every day you get the chance to run round a fortress wearing a pink tutu” said a breathless Jo.
Our ladies’ efforts did not stop there, the 7 strong team managed to raise more than £700 for Cancer Research UK which is a fantastic achievement and well worth the hard work.
