Robinson Reed Layton has been awarded a top accolade for its staff training and has achieved platinum approved status for its trainee development with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

The new platinum status was confirmed after a review by ACCA of the learning and support that the Truro-based firm gives to its trainees. The review focussed on Robinson Reed Layton’s provision of study support and relevant practical experience.

Training manager Mark Williams is delighted with the new status.

“Robinson Reed Layton has achieved the highest level of trainee development, recognising the quality of support that we provide our students. We’ve been an approved employer for several years and the new platinum status reflects the firm’s dedication to training. We have a strong reputation for delivering a professional service to our clients, so it’s vital that we invest in our staff.”

Robinson Reed Layton currently has one certified student and two qualified members who trained with the firm as well as a further two members who trained elsewhere before joining the firm.

Student Becca Walkden is benefitting from the firm’s training first hand.

“I chose Robinson Reed Layton because it really values professional development and I’m really enjoying my training as the firm is providing both theoretical and practical teaching and experience.”
