We are delighted to have been recognised as the only accredited Accountant Partner in Cornwall by a leading supplier of business software and services, whilst a member of the team has qualified to offer specialist advice.

Robinson Reed Layton has received a plaque to illustrate that the company is the only fully accredited Sage Accountant Partners in Cornwall.

In order to achieve this, the Sage Team have to attend regular in-depth training courses and are examined annually to ensure their knowledge is fully up to date. It also means that they have permission to supply Sage software and can offer substantial discounts.

Having just passed her ‘Sage 50 ACT! 2010 Premium Product Specialist’ exams, Helen Greig, a Sage software specialist with Robinson Reed Layton, is now qualified to train businesses to use this invaluable contact management database available through Sage.

Already a member of the four-strong Sage team at the firm, these new qualifications join the host of other accolades that they hold between them with regards to Sage software and training.

Helen explains, “Many businesses use Sage software to manage their accounts, payroll, forecasting and business relationships. As the only Sage Accredited Accountant Partner in Cornwall, Robinson Reed Layton has a specialised team of highly trained staff who are able to install, configure and train on Sage software – as well as provide the software at discounted prices.”

Taking place at Robinson Reed Layton’s offices in Truro from 10am, the free workshop will illustrate how ACT! – Contact & Customer Management can organise your information, making each key contact accessible along with logging all of their activities and associated files. Integrated with Outlook, it includes a calendar and reminder system and can also be used to create mail merges and e-mail merge templates.

Able to be customised, it enables users to organise contacts and stay in touch with clients, whilst sales and leads can be tracked and marketing campaigns managed.

June Horne will be speaking at the event, having worked for Sage for over 10 years, working in both technical support and marketing before joining the Sage field support team in 2003. Prior to working at Sage, June ran her own book-keeping and computer services business.
