Robinson Reed Layton’s team of Tom Mullard, Tracy Lewis, Vicky Reynolds and Dan Orasnjak entered the Rotary Club Great Truro Pancake Race on Shrove Tuesday, under the team name of “Flippin’ Accountants”.
Although they failed to get into the medals, all four enjoyed the occasion and helped raise a useful sum for the charity Thanks For Life – End Polio Now, and other local charities.
Tom Mullard was philosophical about the team’s performance, commenting that: “It was for a good cause, and the result of this sort of event is always a bit of a toss-up”.
