Sage seminars and training
As one of Cornwall’s leading firms of Chartered Accountants and the only Sage Accredited Accountant Partner in Cornwall, we continually assist businesses in implementing and upgrading Sage accounting and payroll systems.
Seminars
One of the ways we help businesses use Sage more effectively is by periodically running free seminars.
We work very closely with Sage and as a result are able to invite the Sage Regional Account Manager, June Horne, to present at some of our seminars.
June has been with Sage for over nine years, working in both technical support and marketing, before joining the Sage Field Support Team in 2003.
Prior to working at Sage, June ran her own bookkeeping business and computer services business, so she really understands the technicalities of accounting and the pressures of running a business!
Recent seminars have been held covering:
- Sage report designer.
- Act!
- Debt management
- Payroll hints and tips
- Getting ready to file your VAT return online
- Sage 50 forecasting
- Updated versions of Sage 50.
Future seminars, taking into account participant feedback, will be detailed here.
If you would like to enrol on any of the above seminars or would like to be informed when new seminars are planned please contact us.
Training
Our staff are required by Sage to pass annual exams to ensure their expertise is kept up to date in order that we retain our Accredited Accountant Partner status. We believe this knowledge of Sage products can help your business and staff.
Our Sage accounts and payroll training can be tailored to suit your needs and is fully flexible to fit around your staff. We find that this enables us to train you on parts of the software you should be using and ignoring parts that are not relevant to your business. For example, if your business doesn’t use the stock module of Sage 50 accounts, why pay to learn how to use it?
Training can take place either at our offices in Truro, or at your premises. By training at your premises we can use your accounts program, your invoices and payments etc. We find this generally helps people understand more than by using demonstration data as the transactions involved are real to them.
Whether you would like a refresher, would like to know how to get the most from your software or have never used Sage before, we are confident our training will help you and your business.
