The youngest ever Partner in the firm’s 90 year history will be made on 1 June 2012 when 28 year old Nick Skerratt becomes Partner.
After graduating with a degree in Maths, Tracy joined the firm in 2004 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2007. She specialises in charity accounts and audits and is a member of our specialist academies team.
Tracy also specialises in large company audits, client money audits, company and sole trader accounts. Tracy is the busy mother of a young son, but when she finds the time she enjoys running, swimming, music and the movies.
Wendy has recently joined the team having spent over 20 years working in and ultimately managing the accounts function in a variety of Cornish Businesses. Wendy understands the practicality of producing accurate and timely accounts and the management value that they bring to any enterprise.
Wendy’s operational experience is underpinned by her AAT Technician qualifications and her in depth knowledge of Sage Accounts software.
As an enthusiastic cyclist, she loves to explore the county (and indeed the country) on two wheels. Both of Wendy’s sons play for local football teams and hence she has become a keen football supporter over the years.
Simon completed a degree in Medical Genetics from the University of Leicester in 2005. After deciding chromosomes weren’t for him and wanting to return to his roots, he joined Robinson Reed Layton the following year. He completed his Chartered Accountancy qualification in February 2010, and his particular areas of knowledge are charity audit and accounts, care homes and ecclesiastical organisations.
Simon is the treasurer for two local sports clubs.
In his spare time he plays cricket, hockey and golf and often travels the country to listen to his favourite bands. Simon’s next targets are to score a century for his cricket team (top score currently 96), lower his golf handicap and perfect his snowboarding.
Carole joined the firm in 1990.
Carole has extensive experience in preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies as well as specialising in management accounts production.
Carole is also a Sage software specialist and is accredited in Sage 50 accounts and payroll and has detailed knowledge of all products in the Sage range.
Most of Carole’s spare time is taken up looking after her two young sons, but she does enjoy coastal walking and socialising with her friends. Carole is also the treasurer of her local school’s PTA.
