RRL co-hosted a charity golf day at Killiow Golf Club in aid of the Merlin MS Centre and the Cornwall Blind Association.
After joining the firm in 1994 Deborah completed her AAT studies and now has considerable experience in preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
Deborah also trains new staff and gives help on the firm’s CCH Viztopia Accounts Software.
Deborah has recently taken up horse riding and enjoys walking with her dog and spending time with her family. She also enjoys visiting the Christmas markets, here and abroad.
After obtaining a first in his physics degree from Exeter University, David moved back down to Cornwall with his wife and put his hand to accountancy at Robinson Reed Layton where he completed his Chartered Accountancy qualification in August 2012.
David enjoys getting involved in the preparation of accounts and has recently specialised in work involving academies. He also has experience of working with charities, both large and small.
David is actively involved with his local church, where he plays the bass guitar and helps with the children’s work. He also enjoys playing sport and is a keen supporter of Newcastle United FC.
Wendy has recently joined the team having spent over 20 years working in and ultimately managing the accounts function in a variety of Cornish Businesses. Wendy understands the practicality of producing accurate and timely accounts and the management value that they bring to any enterprise.
Wendy’s operational experience is underpinned by her AAT Technician qualifications and her in depth knowledge of Sage Accounts software.
As an enthusiastic cyclist, she loves to explore the county (and indeed the country) on two wheels. Both of Wendy’s sons play for local football teams and hence she has become a keen football supporter over the years.
Graham joined the firm in 1996 and has gained extensive experience since then. He currently undertakes a wide range of work including preparing charity and company accounts, auditing of accounts and grant claims, independent examination of charity accounts, and completion of company and personal tax returns.
He is a committee member of the Cornwall Branch of the Association of Accounting Technicians, who organise training courses for members in Cornwall.
In his spare time he is a keen badminton player, and the treasurer of a local club.
Other interests include photography, (he is a member of the St Ives Camera Club), walking, gardening and DIY projects.
Having joined the firm as long ago as 1990, Carole has extensive experience in preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, specialising in the production of management accounts and in the implementation of new accounting systems.
A Sage software specialist accredited in Sage 50 accounts and payroll, Carole has detailed knowledge of all products in the Sage range.
Most of her spare time is devoted to looking after her 2 young sons but she does also enjoy coastal walking and socialising with her friends. Carole is also the treasurer of her local school’s PTA.
